Thank you for choosing to visit Circus Galassia. These simple Terms and Conditions explain how our tickets, exchanges, and venue rules work so that everyone can enjoy a safe and unforgettable circus experience.
1. Using Our Website
By using our website or buying tickets online, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions. We may update them from time to time, and any updates will appear on this page.
2. Ticketing Policy
• All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
• Tickets are valid only for the date and time printed on them.
• Each ticket admits one person and is void if altered.
• Complimentary tickets cannot be exchanged or upgraded.
3. Late Arrival and Entry
• Late seating is managed at the discretion of our team.
• Entry may be paused during certain acts for the safety of performers and to avoid distractions.
4. Venue Rules
To keep the show safe and enjoyable for everyone:
• Only food, drinks and merchandise purchased at Circus Galassia may enter the tent.
• Personal photography and video recording are not allowed during the show.
• Backpacks and large bags are not permitted inside the big top.
5. Exchange Policy
We understand that plans change, so we offer the following exchange options:
More than 24 hours before your show
• Exchanges allowed if seats are available
• R25 per ticket exchange fee
• Exchange must be confirmed at our onsite ticket office or through WhatsApp at https://wa.me/message/Q7RIQFJPAZXVE1
Between 24 hours and 2 hours before your show
• Exchanges allowed if seats are available
• R50 per ticket exchange fee
• Exchange must be confirmed at our onsite ticket office or through WhatsApp at https://wa.me/message/Q7RIQFJPAZXVE1
Less than 2 hours before the show
• No exchanges can be made
Compassionate exceptions
We can assist with exchanges in cases of:
• Death in the family (official document required)
• Accidents or medical emergencies (hospital or accident report required)
Documentation must show a date close to the ticket date.
6. Safety and Liability
• By attending the show, you accept all risks that may occur before, during or after the event.
• Circus Galassia is not responsible for injury, loss or damage to personal property.
7. Event changes, interruption and cancellation
Circus Galassia may postpone, reschedule, interrupt or cancel a performance before or during the show for safety reasons or circumstances beyond its control including weather conditions, illness, power interruption, equipment failure or instructions from authorities.
If a performance is cancelled before it begins, ticket holders may request a refund of the ticket price paid, less a 25 percent administration fee. The administration fee covers processing, ticketing costs and third party charges linked to the booking system. Refunds are processed to the original payment method only. No ticket exchanges or date changes will be issued unless Circus Galassia elects to offer this at its sole discretion.
If a performance is postponed or rescheduled, ticket holders may request a refund within seven days of the public announcement of the new date. Refunds are issued at the ticket price paid, less the 25 percent administration fee. If no refund request is received within this period, the ticket remains valid for the new date. Circus Galassia is not required to rebook customers or transfer tickets to different dates unless it elects to offer this at its sole discretion.
If a performance is interrupted or stopped after it has begun and more than thirty minutes of the performance has taken place, the performance will be regarded as completed. No refunds, credits, exchanges or alternative benefits apply in these circumstances.
If less than thirty minutes of the performance has taken place at the time of interruption or cancellation and the show cannot continue, ticket holders may request a refund of the ticket price paid, less the 25 percent administration fee. Refunds are processed to the original payment method only and must be requested within seven days of the public announcement that the performance will not resume.
Circus Galassia is not responsible for additional costs incurred by ticket holders including travel, accommodation, meals or any other consequential expenses linked to the attendance of the show.
8. Use of Photos and Video
Attending the event gives Circus Galassia permission to use your image in event photos or videos for promotional purposes.
9. Respectful Use of the Website
Users may not:
• Copy or use our website content without permission
• Post harmful, offensive or unlawful material
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
10. Age Requirement
You must be of legal age in your area to use our website or purchase tickets.
11. Governing Law
Circus Galassia operates in the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be handled under South African law through the courts in Cape Town.
